The Local Government Unit of Jagna is hosting for the second time at the Capt. Goyo Hall the 4th level training for the 2012 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF 2012). The training is conducted by the Provincial Statistics Office. It is a six-day training that started on February 18 and will last until the 23rd of February.
Participants are hired enumerators from Jagna and Garcia Hernandez. The training covers the orientation of functions and responsibilities during the conduct of the census. Training facilitators are Ms. Jessamyn Anne Alcazaren of the Provincial Statistics Office and Ms. Gaudiosa Oculares of the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics in Bohol.
The CAF 2012 is a large scale government undertaking that is geared towards the collection and compilation of basic information of the agriculture and fisheries sectors in the Philippines. The data collected in this census shall constitute the basis from which policymakers and planner formulate their plans and programs for the socio-economic development of the farmers and fisherfolks and the country as a whole.
The training is supported by the Local Government Unit of Jagna’s Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Mr. Camilo Rizano and staff Cecil Opada for the agriculture sector and Roderick Virtudazo for the fisheries sector.
