Amidst rough seas and strong winds, Sakay sakay lives on

JAGNA – The traditional fluvial procession dubbed Sakay-Sakay was successfully conducted in the morning of today September 28.

 

Spearheaded by the Jagna Parish Pastoral Concil, Sr. San Miguel in a banca and devotees braved strong winds and rough seas to make a patrol along the coasts of the town.

 

With the help of the Philippine Coast Guard, the procession went on. It started at the Jagna Wharf went off towards Can-uba returned and then on towards Alejawan.

 

Adults and children alike participated following the banca of Sr. San Miguel. The traditional SINOOG performers and the Jagna Band did not fail to make the event lively.
