BOSS starts business on January 6

he Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) of the Municipality of Jagna started serving the constituency who are renewing their business permits and licenses on January 6, 2013 at the BPLO Office, ground floor of the municipal building.

The BPLO adheres to the Business Permits and Licensing System Standards using only 1 unified form; 5 steps in processing; 5 signatories and 30 minutes processing time for New Business Permit applications. For Business Permit Renewal actual statistics state the use of one unified form; 1 step; 2 signatories and 15 minutes of processing time. This is for applications that have complete requirements.

Pre-processing requirements include barangay clearance, barangay business clearance, cedula, Fire Safety Inspection Certificate, Health certificate, Vehicle Inspection, Contract of Lease (market bldg. occupants), Market Clearance (market bldg. occupants), solid waste clearance, association clearance, documentary stamp, sketch map (new business) and 1×1 picture).

Steps to be accomplished are step 1: submission of all pre-requirements; step 2: submission of all requirements together with fill-out business forms; step 3: submission of all documents from step 2 for verification by the BPLS inspection team; step 4: payment of fees and taxes at cashier; step 5: submission of all documents from steps 1-4 for releasing of business permit.

The team headed by Mrs. Efrena Buenafe starts processing requirements at 8:00 in the morning and ends at 5:00 PM.

Processing of permits and licenses without penalty will be until January 20. After January 20, corresponding penalty will be applied. The BOSS will only be in operation until January 31.
