Financial Literacy Campaign

The International Marketing Group (IMG) conducts an orientation about Financial Literacy on October 31, 2019 at the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) headed by the IMG financial educator Mr. Joram Torreon.

It is in-line with their campaign “10 million Financially Educated Families by 2025”.

The highlight of the orientation is to educate the participants regarding investment and saving money for future retirement.

Jagna Young Eco-Savers Club

The Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) continues their school-based program “Jagna Young Eco-Savers Club”. The program was initiated since 2019 and held at Canjulao Elementary School.

The goal is to teach the students in recycling waste materials. Students will bring recyclable materials every week and they will earn points from it.

Students with high points will receive a medal at the end of the semester.

Mayor Joseph Ranola Highlights Tourism In Jagna

Boosting the Tourism is the flagship of Mayor Joseph Ranola during his term to achieve his goal of making Jagna as the “Religious Capital of Bohol”. By improving the tourism of Jagna, the economy will also rise and more job openings will be created.

He also plan to improve the existing tourist site in Jagna like the Kinahugan Falls in Cabungaan, Lonoy and Boctol Cold Springs as well as to enhance the preparation and presentation of local delicacies.
