BARANGAY CAMBUGASON

HISTORY OF THE BARANGAY

The past and present name of the barrio is Cambugason. It is popularly named Cambugason. It is derived from the star call Cabugason that shine every early at dawn. The natives called the place Cambugason. It was established in the year 1790.

There were barely 10 families living originally in the barangay. These families were: Leon Acala, Gregorio Galorio, Tomas Galvez, Narciso Acala, Miguel Ocio, Juan Acaso, Carmelo Galvez, Santos Acas, Domingo Acebes, and Pedro Ocio.

The tenientes from the earliest to date are:

  7. Filomino Acaso

In 1948 Mr. Agustin Madera established and build school in the barangay. Until 1950 the construction of the school continued with the leadership of Luis Virtudes.  A school in sitio Balila was build with the help of Kagawad Rufino Salabe. Barangay Captain Isidro Salabe led the Balila Elem. School during the time of Teodoro Galagar

 

VISION

Ang Barangay Cambugason may katawhan nga mahigugmaon sa Diyos, komunidad nga malinawon sa tanang aspeto sa serbisyo pangobiyerno og may kinaiyahan nga inampingan.

 

MISSION

Ang Barangay Cambugason mokab-ot pinaagi sa kinasingkasing nga pagtinabangay og pakighilambigit sa mga molupyo og barangay Council, Local Gov’t Unit, og non Government organization diha sa malungtaron og matinud-anong pagsuporta sa kalikopan og programa alang sa kalinaw, ekonomiya, pang-uma, edukasyon og kultura, pangkinaiyahan og iprastraktura nga walay bulok pamolitika alang sa kalamboan og kalamposan sa tibuok katawhan sa Barangay nga maoy atong pango.
