Mayor Fortunato R. Abrenilla inducted to office last September 21 at the Capt. Gregorio “Goyo” Casenas Hall the new set of officials of the Jagna Calamay Makers and Multi-Purpose Cooperative (JACAMACO).
In his welcome message, the local chief executive congratulated the inductees and encouraged them to work together for the success of the JACAMACO.
He also urged the general membership of the JACAMACO to support the officials and reiterated that success of an organization comes from cooperation not only among officials but more so with the membership.
Ms. Maribel Bucog, the new JACAMACO Chairperson, appealed to the membership to support the officials in its efforts for the growth of the JACAMACO. She added that if problems arise, she wants to be informed so that the officials can take action towards the formulation of a solution.
The Hon. Bonifacio Virtudes, Jr., SB Member and Chairperson of the Committee on Cooperatives stressed cooperation and understanding within the group so that the JACAMACO will prosper.
Engr. Peter Jamero, Jagna Small and Medium Enterprise Development (JaSMED) delivered the closing remarks. Ms. Marilou V. Naldoza, JaSMED Coordinator emceed the event.
