Fifteen candidates for the search of Miss Jagna 2011 were bared this week by the Sangguniang Kabataan. In a tarpaulin displayed at the Jagna Public Market and an initial tree planting activity the candidates were presented to the Jagnaanons.
The fifteen lovely candidates are: Ma. Princess Bermoy representing Tejero; Ruth B. Basarte – Malbog; Ma. Jhonalyn Y. Ona – Bunga Ilaya; Christine U. Rabusa – Canjulao II; Ma. Lorena A. Abrea – Cambugason; Mariez T. Bernasor – Canjulao I; Christine Mae Cuarto – Poblacion; Ma. Charmane Anora – Pagina; Apple Jade Cagas – Faraon; Isabella J. Jamora – Lonoy; Chenny Lyn Rana – Alejawan; Karen Mae S. Rivera -Can-upao; Glaiza P. Ranan – Tubod Monte; Joanna R. Olaer – Odiong; Mary Ann A Cuarteros – Can-ipol.
On September 11, the candidates had a tree planting activity dubbed “Miss Jagna Nurtures Mother Nature”. The activity was held at barangay Mayana.
The candidates visited DYJP station and were on air introducing themselves to the town.
This year’s Miss Jagna focuses on environmental issues as well as setting awareness campaigns for the proper care of the environment.
