The Municipality of Jagna, a consistent awardee in the area of nutrition, will once again conduct a municipal-wide nutrition evaluation starting February 3, 2014 up to March 6, 2014.
Spearheaded by the Municipal Nutrition Office, the nutrition monitoring and evaluation covers the 33 barangays and 22 public elementary schools.
The nutrition monitoring and evaluation will include barangay nutrition scholars (BNS), barangay nutrition council (BNC) garden, purok centers, day care workers (DCW) and DepEd gardens (Gulayan sa Paaralan).
The team headed by Municipal Nutrition Action Officer (MNAO) Anita G. Ocmeja includes MSWDO Marcionila E. Reyes to evaluate the day care workers; MLGOO Engr. Judy Grace Dominguez, Municipal Librarian Mr. Catalino Berro, Municipal Tourism Officer Ms. Elizabeth O. Balaba, High Value Commercial Crop Development Program (HVCCDP) coordinator Amelia Virtudazo, Sanitary Inspector Jocelyn V. Maluenda, Municipal Nutrition Program Coordinator Elizabeth Sajulga, SFO2 Lorenzo Aceron and MDRRMC Action Officer Adonis John Cagas.
Feed backing of findings is done right after the evaluation so the Council may be given an idea of what to improve in their specific barangays.
