JAGNA – A composite team composed of representatives of the DepED, DILG, PNP and the Local Government Unit of Jagna conducted Oplan Balik Skwela 2012 monitoring to the 22 public elementary schools and 5 public high schools within Jagna from June 4-6, 2012.
The purpose was to ensure that all public high schools and elementary schools have complied to the mandate to start the conduct of classes on June 4.
The DILG and the LGU is also monitoring as to the support of the barangay council to the Brigada Eskwela 2012 Program. The barangay council is encouraged to support through helping the teachers clean the classrooms and other school facilities in preparation for the opening of classes. The Brigada was conducted on May 21.
The PNP’s presence reinforced the campaign to keep schools safe from unscrupulous elements by keeping the children aware of the surroundings. The PNP is also advising the children to bring their provisions for recess time and lunch if possible inside the classrooms to keep them inside the school premises.
The composite team included District School Supervisor Delfina Ola-a; JCES Principal Marcelo Lloren, JCES PTCA President Antioco Lloren; Jagna MLGOO Lito Dajalos; Jagna Chief of Police Mercedarious Balabat with SPO1 Dionilo Tapang, PO1 Michael Cubero, PO1 Marivic Mari, PO3 Jill Rasonabe, PO1 Jason Laurden, PO1 Virgilio Salazar, Jr.; Municipal Public Information Officer Amiela Balaba and Richie Echalico of the LGU to document the whole activity.
