Cong. Arthur Yap once again made his personal visits to five barangays in Jagna last April 3 for his Barangay People’s Day. The barangays visited were Calabacita, Malbog, Cantuyoc, Balili and Buyog.
Congressman Yap held a public forum where the residents can raise concerns, problems in the barangays and requests for projects. This is a way for him to learn firsthand the concerns of barangay folks of the third district.
He also officially announced his scholarship programs as well as hospitalization program to the constituents of the 5 barangays. He made mention of his sponsoring of Philhealth cards to selected beneficiaries per barangay.
Cong. Art Yap’s visit also included inspection of the farm to market roads as part of his projects granted to the barangays.
An amount of 2 million pesos was pledged by Cong. Yap to be given to the municipality for the purchase of heavy equipment.
