To culminate the month of March as Fire Prevention Month, the Jagna Central Fire Station in cooperation with LGU Jagna organized the 1st Jagna Barangay Volunteer Fire Brigade Olympics 2014” last March 26, 2014 at the Jagna Municipal Plaza in Poblacion, Jagna with the theme “Isulong ang Kaunlaran, Sunog ay Iwasan, Kaalaman at Pag-iingat ang Kailangan”. 
Participating barangays to this first ever in the town volunteer fire brigade Olympics were barangays Bunga Mar, Can-upao, Looc, Canjulao, Pagina, Poblacion, Tejero and Pangdan. There were two events namely Busted Hose Replacement Relay and Up the Ladder and Bucket Relay.
Barangay Poblacion Volunteer Fire Brigade won in the event Busted Hose Replacement Relay and Up the Ladder event followed by Barangay Tejero in the second place and Barangay Pagina in the third place while barangay Pagina became the champion in Bucket Relay followed by Barangay Can-upao in second place and Barangay Looc in third place.
The purpose of the competition is to capacitate each barangay in fire fighting and enhancement of volunteerism in the locale.
