A quiet observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’days

JAGNA – The people of Jagna observed the 2-days holiday in honor of All Saints’ Day on November 1 and All Souls’ Day last November 2 peacefully.

Saint Michael Parish, the LGU in cooperation with the Philippine National Police made early preparations toward the smooth and peaceful observance of these days.

Traffic management at the cemetery was taken charge by the PNP Jagna. People came home to visit loved ones. The bulk of people started to flock the cemetery in Kota and Pangasin Tejero early morning of November 1. Some even came as early as October 31 to avoid the onslaught of visitors on November 1 and 2.

The parish of St. Michael the Archangel released early schedules of masses at the church and the cemetery early on so the public may be guided.

The Local Government Unit installed water lines to cater to the needs of visitors at the two cemeteries. The Local Jagna Emergency Medical and Rescue Unit together with the Bureau of Fire Protection were on alert and monitoring the whole proceedings in case there are emergencies that needed their attention.

All necessary offices are in coordination for the peaceful, quiet and holy observance of All Saints and Souls days.
